baramundi Connector (Per Device)

Description

The baramundi Connector provides a bidirectional interface between the baramundi Management Suite and Matrix42 Enterprise Service Management.

In addition to a fully automated import of hardware and software inventory data, the Connector provides the option of accepting baramundi jobs as a service in the Service Catalog, enabling users to order software independently via the Matrix42 Self Service Portal. Our solution also comes with a ready-to-use provisioning workflow for automated installation and uninstallation of the software services on the devices managed in baramundi.

Two data providers are available in Matrix42 for configuring the connector.
The Inventory Data Provider, including the option to customize the matching criteria when importing assets, and the Provisioning Base Data Provider, for importing jobs.These can be used independently of each other.

Requirements:

• Network connection between the Matrix42 App Server and the baramundi system. Alternatively: (when using Matrix42 DWP Cloud) installed Matrix42 Remote Worker in the network with access to baramundi and connection to Matrix42 Cloud.
• baramundi Management Suite from version 2021 R2 (bMS 2021 R2) with bConnect 1.1
• Generic Inventory Data Provider by Matrix42 from v. 1.20 (Free download via the Extension Gallery)
• Matrix42 ESM from Version 10.1.1
